Movement Over Posing

We’ll walk, talk, play with the kids, and photograph natural interaction while still getting the group portraits everyone wants.

Sunset or Sunrise

Most sessions begin during the hour before sunset. Sunrise is available for cooler temperatures, fewer people, and younger children.

I’ll help with clothing, timing, parking, beach access, meeting instructions, and the family groupings you want photographed.

What Should We Wear?

Light neutrals, creams, soft blues, muted greens, and earth tones photograph well near the sand and water. You don’t need everyone in matching outfits. Coordinated colors usually look more natural.

What time is best for beach photos?

The hour before sunset provides the softest light and more comfortable temperatures. Sunrise sessions are also available for families who prefer a quieter beach.

What if it's windy?

A light coastal breeze is completely normal and often adds movement to clothing and hair. If weather conditions become unsafe, we'll reschedule your session.

Can we go barefoot?

Absolutely. Many families choose to go barefoot for a more relaxed beach look.
